Quick start

    Unzip
    Extract the bundle anywhere on your machine.

    Run
    Windows: double-click start.bat. macOS/Linux: bash start.sh.

    Open
    The app starts at http://localhost:8090. The first run sets up a local environment and takes a few minutes; later runs start at once.
  4. 4
    Sign in
    On the first visit, create the root user, then choose the password that encrypts your stored secrets.

Next steps

  • The install guide covers running it as a server, where your data lives, and connecting an MCP client with an API token.
  • Add users and give each one a role: viewer, editor or admin.
  • Configure Git to point Roadmap at your repositories.
  • Optional plugins install from the registry inside the app under Server administration → Plugins. Pro’s registry is served at /registry/pro.json.
